DEADman font family
Designed by Christoph David Seiler
The font family DEADman is mostly inspired by the weird style of the British illustrator Ralph Steadman. He had a long partnership with the American journalist Hunter S. Thompson, drawing pictures for several of his articles and books e.g. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Like Steadmans artwork all the letters are painted with ink. The best ones were selected out of hundreds of variations to get the whole character set complete and look uniform. By combining the regular weight with one (or both) of the additional weights Blotting and Squirting you can achieve a more freaky and psychadelic look.
