A delicate, reverse-contrast seriffed type

Quimera is a natural consequence of our admiration for Roger Excoffon's Antique Olive and for what it meant at its time. However Quimera has its own soul: it has delicate curves and an overall charming personality. Its open counterforms lead to good legibility in small text as well as on screen. Quimera has a typical sanserif modulation but its letterforms wear a thin, capricious serif. This genetic contradiction is the reason behind its name, as it was a 'sanserif avec'!
